Celebration and Prize-giving to students at New College Worcester

On Saturday, 2 July 2022, I had the honour of being the guest speaker for the annual Celebration and Prize-giving to students at New College Worcester (NCW) a school for blind and partially sighted children up to leaving age.

What I experienced truly touched my heart. The mutual love and feeling of support in that place was almost tangible.

The teaching and support staff clearly love their work and have total belief in the children. In that beautiful atmosphere it was relatively easy to make my speech, in which I not only congratulated those students who are moving on now to further education but urged them to build on the encouragement they had received at NCW, go out and do likewise, believe in themselves as their teachers had done and single-mindedly follow their dreams.
