Dear John

I am writing to say how much everyone appreciated your visit to Ebenezer Mission Hall last Sunday. On a personal note I have had it in mind to start a new work in Nechells for some time, but have been hesitant because I am now past retirement age. Your message truly inspired me to think again. There is no room for retirement in Christian service and, thanks to you, I have been re-fired! Praise the Lord.

I told you briefly about Mark Andrews, who was visiting on Sunday morning. Mark has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and, as you might expect, has his dark moments. He was absolutely fired up after Sunday morning and has remained upbeat since.

It's your sincerity that shines through John and that sense of God's Spirit shining out. Long may it continue.

We give Jesus all the praise but thank him for your faithfulness and willingness to share.

I greatly look forward to meeting up with you again.
