In his talks and Sermons, John explains the process of going blind in his late teens and the frustration he felt as doctors couldn't tell him what the cause was. As he said, his "lights went out" in 1966 and since then he's had to learn, unlearn and relearn what he can do with his life, a metaphor both individuals and businesses need to hear. But, more than this, his 'lights went on' when he met Jesus Christ, who has helped him cope with life and be contented with his circumstances and become an over-comer.
